Beginners/Improvers Dancers Programme 
With Jacqui Jamal!!  

Commencing on Sept 12th with a brand new programme of classes for the new academic year!

The intermediate programme will run from 8 – 9.30pm on Tuesdays and will be suitably demanding*.
There will be two specialist workshops during the year, as part of the programme and these will be with nationally recognised ‘stars’.

The improvers programme will run from 7.30 – 8.30pm on Tuesdays and will be referred to as ‘The Top Up Programme’. This is because improvers will be seen as ‘topping up’ their technique before progressing to the intermediate programme in the following year or beyond. The ‘Top Up’ is also for those already dancing in the intermediate group who want to top up their skills in any specific area by dropping in to a 7.00 or 7.30 pm class. 

Content:

Before the first class of each term a weekly break–down of content will be circulated.

There will be two specialist workshops during the year, as part of the programme and these will be with nationally recognised ‘stars’.

Autumn term will focus on Modern Cairo technique. It will include walks, accents, mini-combinations, veil and tabla.
I am delighted that Heather Burby is confirmed for October 17th to teach traveling steps including changes of direction.
Spring term will continue from the autumn term by adding folk dances from the different regions of Egypt. Also included, will be some dances from periods of history and a bit about famous dancers of the past.
Summer term will concentrate on choreography and the influences of dances from other parts of the world.

Pricing and Times:

The cost of your weekly class will remain at £5.50.

To simplify registration:

you will be able to pay by the week, month (on the first Tuesday of the month), term or year.* 
You will not be able to pay in other ways or at other times. 

Weekly class: £5.50.

7.30 – 8.30pm

‘Upgrade’ to Beginners:

You can attend from 7pm onwards until 8.30 by paying an ‘upgrade’ of £2.50 per session. Payable weekly .
Note: Anyone paying for a course (min: monthly payment scheme) is automatically entitled to attend these sessions free of charge.

Monthly payments:

Variations reflect number of classes in each month. Prices include the specialist workshop. There is no discount but you will be eligible to attend from 7pm on any or every week, should you wish, for no extra charge. You may also find it more convenient to pay this way. Payment will be due on the first class of each month as follows:

February 6th classes £16.50
March 6th 4 classes £22
April 3rd 2 classes £11

Termly payments: 
Note: includes class and specialist workshop discounts as well as free access to top up:

Autumn: £60 (13 weeks) (a saving of 2 weeks)
Spring: £55 ( 12 weeks ( saving 2 weeks)
Summer: £50 (11 weeks) (saving 2 weeks)

New Option:

Yearly payment: For your convenience you may wish to opt for a yearly one-off payment in Sept 06 of £132. A HUGE saving of £66 …. meaning you can miss four classes per term and not be out of pocket …. AND a further saving of £90 should you come to class at 7pm instead of 7.30!!

Refunds:

In the case of Jacqui being ill, a suitable replacement will be found.
Course payments will be refunded in cases of prolonged illness.
If at any time you decide that the course it not for you, a negotiated refund will be made, relating to course time and facilities not yet obtained.
A refund will be negotiated in cases of valid dissatisfaction with course content. i.e. ‘It did not do what it said on the bottle!’
Refunds or referred payments can only be negotiated in special circumstances.

Note: For monthly and term payments, should you wish to set up a standing order into Jacqui’s account, you will qualify for a 5% discount on listed prices. This order may be terminated at any time you wish and any accidental overpayments would of course be refunded immediately.
